- Strong grasp of Aruban labor law and HR compliance frameworks.
- A proactive mindset; someone who listens, analyzes, and leads with empathy and insight.
- A steady hand during transitions, able to maintain team cohesion and morale through change.
- Experience navigating intercultural teams, ensuring equity, inclusion, and collaboration.
- Proven ability to resolve workplace issues with diplomacy and fairness.
- A principled, independent problem-solver who values both individual accountability and team success.
What you’ll need
- A bachelor’s degree (HBO) in Human Resources Management or a related discipline, or an equivalent qualification.
- In-depth knowledge of Aruban labor legislation, along with practical experience applying it in day-to-day HR operations.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multicultural teams, foster inclusivity, and build effective collaboration across diverse cultural backgrounds.
- A values-driven and ethical approach to HR, ensuring full compliance with policies while promoting a workplace culture of respect and fairness.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in Dutch and English, with the ability to clearly explain HR matters; proficiency in Spanish and Papiamento is a plus.
