• Solid experience in Human Resources, particularly in cultural alignment, employee engagement, and talent development.
• A clear communicator who promotes dialogue and trust across all levels of the organization.
• Strong grasp of Aruban labor law and HR compliance frameworks.
• A proactive mindset; someone who listens, analyzes, and leads with empathy and insight.
• A steady hand during transitions, able to maintain team cohesion and morale through change.
• Experience navigating intercultural teams, ensuring equity, inclusion, and collaboration.
• Proven ability to resolve workplace issues with diplomacy and fairness.
• A principled, independent problem-solver who values both individual accountability and team success.

What you’ll need

• A bachelor’s degree (HBO) in Human Resources Management or a related discipline, or an equivalent qualification.
• In-depth knowledge of Aruban labor legislation, along with practical experience applying it in day-to-day HR operations.
• Demonstrated ability to manage multicultural teams, foster inclusivity, and build effective collaboration across diverse cultural backgrounds.
• A values-driven and ethical approach to HR, ensuring full compliance with policies while promoting a workplace culture of respect and fairness.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills in Dutch and English, with the ability to clearly explain HR matters; proficiency in Spanish and Papiamento is a plus.
