Your Core Responsibilities

  • HR Partnership: Serve as a primary HR point of contact for assigned departments, building strong relationships with both employees and managers.

  • Employee Guidance: Provide trusted advice and support on all HR-related matters, including company policies, career development, and performance.

  • Culture & Engagement: Actively champion a positive and inclusive workplace culture through local initiatives that boost morale and team cohesion.

  • Talent & Development: Support talent development programs and facilitate career growth conversations to help employees reach their potential.

  • Employee Relations & Compliance: Ensure day-to-day HR operations are compliant with Aruban labor law, and help mediate workplace issues with diplomacy and fairness.

  • Fostering Inclusivity: Promote effective collaboration and equity within diverse and multicultural teams, ensuring an inclusive environment for all.

What You Bring – Your Qualifications & Experience

  • A Bachelor’s degree (HBO) in Human Resources Management, Organizational Psychology, or a related discipline.

  • Solid experience in a hands-on Human Resources role with a strong advisory component.

  • In-depth, practical knowledge of Aruban labor legislation and HR best practices.

  • Proven ability to resolve employee relations issues and guide employees and managers through change.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build trust and promote open dialogue.

  • Strong written and verbal proficiency in Dutch and English is required; fluency in Spanish or Papiamento is a significant asset.

  • A principled, proactive, and values-driven approach to Human Resources.
