What You’ll Be Responsible For
- HR Partnership — Act as the dedicated HR point of contact for your assigned departments, cultivating strong and meaningful relationships with employees and managers alike.
- Employee Guidance — Offer dependable, thoughtful counsel on a wide range of HR matters — from company policy and performance management to individual career development.
- Culture & Engagement — Take an active role in nurturing a positive, inclusive workplace by driving local initiatives that strengthen team spirit and overall morale.
- Talent & Development — Contribute to talent development efforts and lead career growth conversations that help employees unlock their full potential.
- Employee Relations & Compliance — Oversee day-to-day HR operations in accordance with Aruban labor law, and approach workplace conflicts with fairness, tact, and professionalism.
- Fostering Inclusivity — Advocate for equity and collaboration across diverse, multicultural teams — creating a space where every individual feels respected and included.
Your Qualifications & Experience
- A Bachelor’s degree (HBO) in Human Resources Management, Organizational Psychology, or a closely related field
- A minimum of three (3) years of practical HR experience with a clear advisory focus
- Demonstrated experience working with HR systems, including Performance Management tools, Hiring & Selection processes, and HRIS platforms.
- Solid, hands-on knowledge of Aruban labor legislation and current HR best practices
- A track record of successfully navigating employee relations challenges and supporting teams through organizational change
- Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills, with a genuine ability to build trust and encourage open, honest dialogue
- Strong written and spoken proficiency in both Dutch and English (required); fluency in Spanish or Papiamento is considered a strong asset
- A proactive, values-led mindset with a principled approach to every aspect of HR practice
